AFDO Disability Loop is rolling out more NDIS workshops across Victoria. Their “Understanding the NDIS” workshops are designed by people with disability, for people with disability and their families and carers.

The next set of workshops will be held in the Outer Gippsland region, in Bairnsdale, this June.

This three-hour workshop will cover lots of different parts of the NDIS, including knowing who is eligible for the NDIS, working out what support you can get in your NDIS plan, to actually using the funds in your NDIS plan to live a better life in the community.

Food and drinks are included. Provided will also be a wide range of accessibility supports on request for attendees with disability, free of charge, to make it easier to participate, including AUSLAN interpreting or captioning.

Disability Loop will be holding a week-day evening session, a week-day session and a weekend session. However, each workshop covers the same topics. So you can choose the workshop that best suits you:

Please register by 6 June 2019 for one of the above sessions.
