The Foundation for Young Australian‘s research shows that Australia is not equipped with the skills for the future of work.

In the rapidly changing world of work Australia’s long-term economic growth will be reliant on an adequately skilled and educated workforce. FYA’s recent research provides strong evidence that our current and future workers are finding the transition to full-time work more challenging and feel they lack the right skills.

But! They have also identified some changes that can be made now, to implement some solutions, and re-conceptualise our approach to the future of work. The Future Skills Framework 2030 outlines how Australian governments can work with young people, industry, educational institutions and leading thinkers across the country to move from talk to action, proposing four key things.

You can view these steps, and further fact sheets, by visiting the Future Skills page on the FYA website.
